Soliman has a simple beginning. It started as a single proprietor company under the name Soliman's Watchman & Security Agency (SWSA).
Today, the Agency is among the top ten (10) security agencies in the country. In the survey conducted by the Center for Research and Communications in the Philippine Business Profiles (1994-1995), it was ranked no. 5 in the field of detective and protective services. The secret formula to Soliman's success is its dedication and commitment to deliver superior quality security service to all clients, regardless of its size.
In February 1987, the company embarked in a dramatic change. Teresita L. Soliman took over the ownership and total management of the Agency. She was not a stranger to the company as she had been directing and managing its business affairs and operations since 1977. With her well-rounded experience and managerial expertise, she was able to make the Agency grow to its present state.
In January 1992, Soliman's Watchman & Security Agency became a corporation. A new name was adopted. The company is now known as SOLIMAN SECURITY SERVICES, INC. (SSSI).
Soliman Security Services. has been adjudged by the Civil Service Force Command of the Philippine National Police THE BEST SECURITY AGENCY. This is the highest and most prestigious award given to a security agency. Soliman has received this award for two (2) occasions already - in 1993 and 1997. Soliman, today, has to its credit 49 years of professional, excellent and efficient security services.
Most of Soliman’s clients belong to top 1000 corporations of the Philippines. Among the satisfied clients are Del Monte Philippines for over 30 years, Bank of the Philippine Islands with over 21 branches, BPI-Family with 28 branches, Australian Embassy, British Embassy, Asian Development Bank, Unilever (Philippines) Inc. Soliman’s home office is located at Soliman Centre building 2182 Don Chino Roces Avenue, Makati City.
Soliman staffs are constantly being sent to different seminars and training to enhance their knowledge in security work and management. Majority of the officers are Certified Security Professionals and members of associations in the field of security, namely American Society for Industrial Security, Philippine Society of Industrial Security, etc. It is through these associations that updates on the latest and state-of-the-art security techniques and trends are learned, acquired and shared.
As against our competitors, Soliman has better-trained, honest, well-equipped, highly disciplined and competent security officers and guards. Guards are constantly inspected both at daytime and nighttime. The office operates on 24 hours daily and it is also equipped with the latest communications and mobility facilities, indispensable to clients' unique and complex requirements.
Last 1991, Soliman had acquired part ownership of a Central Monitoring Unit whereby about 300 different diplomatic residences and other companies which are equipped with alarm systems are hooked-up for our immediate response.

General Manager
A Biologist by education, but a security management expert by profession. She propelled the Agency from its humble beginning to its present status. In 1987, she was in full control of the Agency by taking over the ownership from her father. Enhancing her security expertise, she is an active member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS), the Philippine Society of Industrial Security (PSIS), the Association of Hotel Security Officers of the Philippines (AHSOP); She has attended various seminar and conferences in the field of security management, the latest of which was the ASIS Security Conference in Pennsylvania, in September of 2002.
Asst. General Manager
Law practitioner. He has honed his expertise in hotel security and management with his 15 years stint with The Westin Philippine Plaza. He was a key officer of the Association of Hotel Security Officer of the Philippines (AHSOP). He has likewise attended training and seminars to enhance his profession in law, management and security areas, which include among others, the Risk Management Seminar in Vail, Colorado, familiarizing himself with other Westin properties in different States. At present, he is with the Agency teaming up with Ms. Soliman as Assistant General Manager, aside from his law practice and other socio-civic activities.
HRD Director
A Sociologist by training and spent his college days helping the U.E. faculty in the translation of several books and manuals in the behavioral science field into Filipino. He also worked as a librarian for five (5) years that developed his interest for books and research. He joined Golden Pizza, Inc. in 1979 as supervisor and was sent to numerous seminars and trainings local and foreign; John Robert Powers, John Clemens, Guthrie & Jensen and NMYC, PSI, U.P., Meralco Foundation to name a few. He also lectured in different schools and public fora on behavioral and social dynamics and has handled training programs for Shakey’s, GDI, PSI and Amthrust Holdings. As HRD Director of Soliman, he handles recruitment, training and employee development programs.
